not receiving emails and the sender is receiving a bounce back message when sending mail

If you are not receiving emails and the sender is receiving a bounce back message when sending mail, please read the bounce message to trace the cause of the bounce backs.

For example the bounce back message will state:

'Mail quota exceeded.'


This means your email box is FULL and you have the Webmail option turned on for your email account. You must do one of the options below to fix this**:

1. You MUST clear out your webmail account of old mail stored on the server. Log into your webhosting account and under emails click on the appropriate email address and choose the webmail icon OR go to http://webmail.yourdomain.com.au

OR

2. Turn off webmail, please note: any mail left on the server will be deleted permanently. Log into your webhosting account and under emails click on the appropriate email address and choose the webmail icon.


OR

3. do not leave mail on the server once downloaded to your email software. Go to your email software and untick this option in Tools/Account Settings/Advance (this is for Microsoft Outlook. Please read your emails software help page if you can't find this option
